Faulty Inner Dialogue Out now on Lost Map Records

Kid Canaveral are David MacGregor (lead vocals, guitars), Kate Lazda (guitars, vocals, synth), Scott McMaster (drums), Rose McConnachie (bass, vocals) and newest member Michael Craig (keys, laptop).

Kid Canaveral released their debut album Shouting At Wildlife in 2010, when it was hailed as BBC Introducing... In Scotland’s Album of the Month on BBC Radio 1 and “a Scottish pop classic” by The Herald.

Its follow-up Now That You Are A Dancer arrived in 2013 and earned such plaudits as “a brilliant indie-rockalbum” (The List), “a shining, glowing example of the pure power that pop music can possess” (GoldFlakePaint) and eventually a nomination for the Scottish Album of the Year Award. Both albums are currently available to buy on Lost Map Records.

Kid Canaveral have toured extensively around the UK, Europe and the US and played festivals including SXSW,

T in the Park, Indietracks, Green Man, Belladrum, Cloudspotting, Long Division, Brew at the Bog and LostMap’s Howlin’ Fling. .

The band's new record Faulty Inner Dialogue will be released on Lost Map Records on 29 July 2016. Their annual Christmas Baubles one-day mini-festival has become an Edinburgh institution every December since 2010, gathering the great and good of the Scottish independent music scene for a sold-out celebratory end-of-year blow-out that has featured such esteemed special guests as Edwyn Collins, Ibibio Sound Machine, Malcolm Middleton, Kathryn Joseph and many more
