Hello everyone.
We’ve been getting some rather nice coverage in the run-up to our album coming on Monday.
You can still pre-order the album and get all the free goodies, but only until 19:29 on Saturday 3th July. That’s a minute before the Album Launch show, if you don’t know…
Here is a wee look at the pre-order pack: http://twitpic.com/20hkfy

You can buy it in our shop.

Also we still have tickets left for our album launch, this Saturday at The Roxy in Edinburgh. Our last show in this venue sold out on the night, so it might be an idea to get tickets from here. We’ll post them to you for free and it’s a quid cheaper than on the door. If you order them too late for posting, we’ll have them waiting for you on the night. We’re good like that.

So, I’ll leave you with the thought that I am delirious with excitement and I am incredibly proud of how the album has turned out. Thank you so much to the frankly incredible and surprising number of you who have pre-ordered the LP. We appreciate it so much.

Here comes the press…
Enjoy, and hopefully we’ll see you on Saturday
keep safe

Daily Record, Friday 25th June:
Kid Canaveral Shouting At Wildlife
ONCE in a while a band comes along that just makes your heart sing – Abba, The B-52s, The Housemartins.
All created gloriously melodic pop that filled you to bursting with happiness. Kid Canaveral do the same. Shouting at Wildlife is the debut from the Edinburgh four-piece – David MacGregor, Kate Lazda, Rose McConnachie and Scott McMaster.
If there’s one album you buy this year by a band you don’t know, then this should be the one.
The album kicks off with Good Morning, a wake-up call courtesy of Kings of Leon, sung by a happy Biffy Clyro. You Only Went Out To Get Drunk Last Night skips along with the girls’ Bananarama harmonies. LEft and Right rips it up with frenzied indie guitars, while Quiet Things Are Quiet Now sounds like folk Hip Hop.
They launch the album at The Roxy Room, Edinburgh on July 3 and play The Flying Duck, Glasgow on July 10.
Shouting at Wildlife is out on July 5. www.myspace.com/kidcanaveral
