Hello everyone,
>
Hopefully this will find you well. Just a wee post to let you know what we’ll be up to in the coming months.
First of all, thank you to everyone who has come to see us recently! We’ve been very busy and the response has been incredible. Playing the BBC Introducing Stage at T in the Park, and at Belladrum have been rather special things indeed. Not to mention the Avalanche instore for the re-issue of our album on Fence Records. Also a massive thanks for the support from Tom Morton (who made us his album of the week on his BBC Scotland Show), Vic Galloway (for the same reason, not to mention his constant support), to Huw Stephens for countless plays on his Radio 1 shows recently, to Josie Long and Andrews Collins, and Gideon Coe for airplay on their BBC 6Music shows and to Gill Mills and Jim Gellatly for inclusion in their Amazing Radio playlists. We’ve filmed a Song, By Toad session that will be up in the coming months, too. We recently recorded a live, acoustic session and interview with Marion Scott for broadcast on Moray Firth Radio. That was just meant to be a wee update/couple of “Ta very much”es and it’s turned into an EFFING OSCAR SPEECH. I’m sorry. We really do appreciate it all. It’s been a bloody great year so far.
Footage and photographs of our set at T in the Park can be found here.
Second of all, we’re playing at the Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh on Sunday 14th August with Over the Wall and Admiral Fallow as part of The EDge Festival. Tickets for this show are close to selling out, so if you want a ticket, it’d be wise to get one here, now.
