Hi there.
First of all, I’d like to offer my sincerest apologies for pulling out of the show at the Wee Red Bar on 30th June at the last minute. Unfortunately, due to my opting to toddle off to hospital instead, we couldn’t play that night. I am most grateful to Johnny Pictish and Dan Withered Hand for helping us out at literally a couple of hours notice and performing in our place. Thankfully, the marvellous NHS has put an end to my health woes with some powerful antibiotics, and I am now almost back to gigging strength.
We have re-scheduled our performance for Saturday 25th August at the Electric Circus in Edinburgh. Support will come from The Bad Books. If you purchased a ticket for the 30th June, your name will be on the door of this show, and in addition to seeing The Pictish Trail, Withered Hand and Randolph’s Leap, your original ticket to see us will be honoured. You’ll receive an email to this effect, shortly.
As the capacity of this venue is larger, additional tickets for this gig will be available. We’ll let you know when and from where in the next few days.
In addition to this, folk attending the gig will be able to get super-early bird tickets for a very special mid-winter show. That’s right, Yule (too early for Xmas puns?) be able to pick up tickets for a seasonal show not dissimilar to this. These super-early bird tickets will be priced at £14 and will only be available at this show. We’ll reveal the date of this show in the next few weeks.
So, put the 25th of August in your diaries and come along to hear us play an even better rehearsed set of songs from our new album, as well as all the best bits from our illustrious back catalogue.
In addition to this, we’re also playing at the Fence Records Away Game on the Isle of Eigg over the weekend of 20th-22nd July. Tickets for this are long gone, but if you do have a ticket then you are in for an incredible weekend.
In other news, we’ve started mixing the new album and we’ll give you more details once we’ve finalised the title, tracklisting, artwork, release date and tour. We’re all very excited.
Hope you’re grand
